Earlier this week, over 25 Colorado healthcare leaders gathered at TranS1’s headquarters to discuss the current state and future of medical technology.
The event was organized by Colorado Bioscience Association, whose mission is to support the regional bioscience community through advocacy, resources and advancement of opportunities for collaboration.
Among the attendees was U.S. Representative for Colorado’s 1st congressional district, Dianna Degette, who was a key advocate for the groundbreaking medical research bill named the 21st Century Cures Act. The legislation will invest about $5 billion in new research funding for the National Institutes of Health.
